Modernise Your Stairs Southport is a specialist stair renovation company that also focuses on manufacturing and installing bespoke hardwood staircases. We are a family run business that was established in 1998 by Shane Wilson, who was then a time served joiner and who now serves as the Director of the company.

Under Shane’s guidance, we have been able to grow as a company significantly over recent years. However we have been able to maintain the “family feel” of the company without making sacrifices with regards to growth and expansion. Shane’s extensive experience has allowed for everyone to be properly trained to our high standards.

We believe that we have grown over the years because not only do we produce outstanding work as you would expect but also we show consideration to our customers and their homes. We always keep in mind that we are guests in your home and thus treat it with the utmost respect. We will even bring along our own tools to clean up before we go!

The whole Southport staircase renovation project will generally take us around 2 days to complete, but we will cause minimum disruption to you and your family whilst we are there – for the majority of the time you probably won’t even notice that we’re there!
